Disability Bio

Tina Zhu Xi Caruso is an artist in the greater Boston area. She’s currently going to Massachusetts College Art and Design. Her art focuses on the hard parts of life as well as resilience after loss. Losses relating to identity, culture and family. As well as advocacy around being a disabled person with blindness called Cortical Cerebral Vision Impairment and invisible learning disabilities (Dyslexia, ADHD, and Autism). Through the means of photography. Her work works on breaking down stigmas of mental health relating to taboo subjects that don’t get talked about enough.
